Modular Taiga in the launch of Atradius Syndicate 1864 at Lloyd's
Proud to have contributed to this milestone for our client in the London insurance market
Atradius has just received final regulatory approval from Lloyd's to begin underwriting business through its new Syndicate 1864 from 1 January 2026. A significant milestone for the credit insurer, which becomes one of the few specialized operators with a direct presence in the Lloyd's of London market.
At Modular Taiga, we are especially proud to have been part of this project. Our colleague Sara Martinelli worked as Project Manager embedded in the Atradius team during the Lloyd's preparation phase, bringing her experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and tracking critical project milestones. Seeing a client achieve an objective of this magnitude is exactly the kind of result that motivates us.
Lloyd's of London is one of the most prestigious and regulated insurance markets in the world. Obtaining approval to operate as a syndicate requires demonstrating operational strength, technical capability, and a team ready to meet very high standards. The journey from "in principle" approval in July to final authorization in December has been intense, and we are proud to have accompanied Atradius along the way.
At Modular Taiga, we believe a consultancy's value is measured by its clients' results. We embed experienced professionals directly into project teams, bringing methodology, external perspective, and execution capability. It's not just about advising — it's about making things happen.
We congratulate the entire Atradius team on this achievement. It has been a pleasure to contribute to making this vision a reality, and we wish them every success in this new chapter.
